(204 words) Of all the pictures, I like good landscapes the most. With their help, I can appreciate the beauty of nature. Each time of the year is brightly under the brush of the artist. So the painter Krymov was able to draw a beautiful winter in the village. “Winter Evening” shows the best sides of this time.
The artist depicted small village houses littered with snow. Around them are trees. They bow under a snow cap, but they don’t freeze. In the distance you can see the church. People are sent to the village in two carts drawn by horses. They are carrying hay, apparently, for livestock. A few more human figures turned to those who deliver hay. In my opinion, these are women going for a walk. In winter, they have little to do, so they warm up. With them is a child in a red fur coat. They probably turned around to say hello to the newcomers. From the hillock they are being watched by small birds. But the main character of the picture is snow. It takes up the most space, as if everything is drowning in it. However, snow is a guarantee of life, because it protects flowers, trees and grass from the cold. The artist conveyed the mood of winter: everything is wrapped in a white veil, as if there was hibernation in the yard. Life froze in anticipation of spring and the awakening of nature.
I liked the painting “Winter Evening” in that it does not depict the plot, the main thing in it is the atmosphere. She shares her impressions, not a story. Seeing her, I feel the nature of winter.
The plan of the essay on Krymov’s painting “Winter Evening”:
- Introduction (The story of the picture);
- The main part (Description of the canvas and the main idea of the artist);
- Conclusion (My opinion about the picture).
